Petra Plestenjak Podlogar
Petra Plestenjak Podlogar is one of the few craftspeople still continuining the centuries-old tradition of carving out wooden moulds for traditional Loka honey breads. Petra adds her own unique touch to the craft that she learnt from her grandfather. She held her first exhibition and received the title of 'master craftsperson' at the age of 15. Petra does not use a template, therefore all her products are unique.
Join Petra in the Arts and Crafts Centre in the historical centre of Škofja Loka, where she will acquaint you will the tradition of carving and creating moulds for Loka honey breads. You will taste Loka honey breads and, under her guidance, try your hand at using a chisel to carve out wood.
